One of America’s most beloved artist Andrew Wyeth is known for many beautiful pieces such as “Christina’s World” and “ Master Bedroom.” Some of his other most prominent art pieces come from a unique collection he undertook, painting and drawing his neighbor Helga in almost total secrecy. From 1971 to 1985, Wyeth explored the human experience alongside Helga Testorf. Andrew Wyeth’s ability to represent so many aspects of life by utilizing one model, Helga, is transformative and rarely done. This piece of The Helga Pictures “ White Dress” depicts Helga gazing out the window in a crisp white dress.
